The KYHS Drama Society provides students with the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of a dramatic performance. The Drama Society performs twice annually. In the fall, our young women perform a musical that is open to all women and girls. In the spring, young men and women participate in the production of a comedy. Under the guidance of our extraordinary drama instructor and director, Ms. Jill Lustig, our students are guided to hone their acting skills as they deliver performances that are genuine crowd-pleasers. As students perform on stage, they develop confidence as well as their communication skills. In addition to acting, students participate in all facets of the plays' production, from costumes and makeup to lighting and stage management.
Some of the musicals we've performed in  the past include: Fiddler on the Roof, Hello, Dolly!, Shrek, Wizard of Oz, Music Man, the Fantastiks, and Seussical. This year we will be performing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Some of the comedies we've performed in the past include: Brighton Beach Memoirs, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Rumors, Don't Drink the Water, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Clue.
