Admissions Timeline

The Admissions process at KYHS is designed to identify a strong “Goodness of Fit” between applicants and our school community. Our holistic approach thoughtfully evaluates each student’s academic readiness, social and emotional development, interest in religious engagement, age-appropriate behavior, and the strength of the parent partnership to determine the likelihood that the student will both benefit from and contribute to the KYHS experience.

Applying for 9th Grade?

Submit online application by January 12, 2026
Make sure your school sends your records and recommendations by January 28, 2026
Complete in-person interview and MAP testing by February 9, 2026
Admissions Decisions Released: February 23, 2026

Applying as a Transfer Student?

Make sure your school sends your records and recommendations by February 16, 2026
Complete in-person interview and MAP testing by February 23, 2026
Admissions Decisions Released: March 16, 2026

Any student who does not meet the deadlines above will be considered in a second round of decisions in early April, space permitting.
